Our family has used thieves oil blends for 10 years now, on all ages of our children. When we got really sick during the first year or so, to speed up recovery and build up the immune system even faster, we diluted it with a carrier oil and rubbed it all over the body like a lotion.
- If you would like to use the immunity balm in this same way, start by diluting it with an organic carrier oil and apply a small amount to a more sensitive area to test first (like the inside of the forearm). If burning or itching occurs - wash off with soap and warm water.
- If no burning or itching occurs, apply to one area at a time, just as you would apply a lotion, avoiding the more sensitive areas.
