Meet The Founder.
Welcome! I'm Cierra Castillo, the founder of Bereshith Beauty. As a wife, mother, and most importantly, a daughter of Yahweh, I am deeply passionate about the natural remedies that He has lovingly provided for us. My belief is simple: everything we need to thrive, has already been given to us by Him. In a world where it often feels impossible to find anything truly organic—authentic to His design rather than man-made—there’s never been a more crucial time to return to the natural remedies that those long before us relied on for thousands of years.

I am dedicated to creating that honor our bodies as the temples they are, by nourishing and protecting them with the finest organic* ingredients; carefully sourcing everything from ethical, like-minded businesses, ensuring that each product we offer supports not only your health but also the health of the world around us. This is my commitment to you, and to the world, because, very simply - this is the way that it should be.
Berěshith Beginnings..
​​​In late 2019, after spending two years and over a thousand dollars trying countless "natural" products to address my lifelong skin issues, I found myself more frustrated than ever. Acne had always been a struggle and I was getting especially frustrated with it because I had just turned 25 and I thought acne went away as you got older?! What was happening though, was - Although I was using all these expensive products which appeared to have all of these amazing ingredients in them, they actually made my skin worse, particularly my skin barrier. My skin was red hot, tight, and shiny. See before pictures.

Eventually, I decided to create my own solution, using minimal, but high quality ingredients that I could find only in nature and voilà! The Skin Repair Setting Dust was born—a product that I never anticipated would change my skin - and my life, in the ways that it has. After just one use, I woke up the next morning with zero redness or irritation, and about 50% of my acne had cleared up (see after pics). I was so inspired that day! I knew then, that I had something truly special and have been eager to share it with others since that day. The immediate results is what drove me to create even more products.
​​ A few months later, the Detoxing Deodorant, and then our Tooth Polish. As someone who had always battled constant cavities, horrible sensitivity— and depression, getting at least one new cavity at every dentist visit—I haven’t had a single cavity since I started using my homemade Tooth Polish in 2021. All sensitivity was gone within a few weeks. I’ve also seen it completely remove stains that had been on my teeth for over 20 years!

I learned a very valuable lesson in those first few years: The more ingredients a product has, the more complicated and confusing it becomes for your skin. Products packed with countless ingredients often create a confusing mixture that doesn’t resemble anything found in nature. Your skin doesn’t need an overload of ingredients to thrive, even if they are "healthy". In fact, when a product has too many ingredients, the active ones can become diluted or overshadowed by everything else, leaving you with a product that doesn’t deliver its full potential. I learned that quality over quantity makes all the difference when you're wanting the best and the fastest results. Minimal, yet high-quality ingredients, are much more compatible for our skin and our bodies. Sometimes, less truly is more!

My mission has always been simple: to build a company that reflects the values I believe in—one that I would be happy to buy from myself. To rely on the same principles and resources that have sustained us from the beginning, just as our wisest ancestors did (which is why we chose the name BerÄ•shith).
